CIK-FIA To Conduct Noise Testing

The FIA World Motor Sport Council has decided that noise in karting will be limited to 108dB. Engine manufacturers have been working on various solutions to meet the limit and have requested a test day to check their compliance.

Manufacturers and teams wishing to take part in the test day, where the CIK-FIA will set up the noise control system it uses at its events, must confirm their participation with the CIK-FIA.

The test session will take place at Sarno, location for the World Cups for KZ1 and KZ2, on August 22.
