Karting Briefs

Bits of karting news from... anywhere!

  • KARTX Magazine will debut their first print edition next month! The online publication announced in the latest issue (#25, click HERE to have a read) that a new-look print version will provide more in depth feature-based articles. It will initially only be available by subscription ($96 for 12 issues) but as the publication develops, the plan is to have it available in newsagents. This is great news for Australian karting. It's about time there was once again a print publication worthy of the sport.

  • The Junior Sprint Classic at Puckapunyal will feature a special charity fundraising event on the Friday practice day prior to the meeting. The family fun day will be to raise money for the 'Challenge - supporting kids with cancer' organisation and include jumping castles, face painting, hairspray, sausage sizzle and much more for just a gold coin donation. A link to the Supp Regs for the September 8/9 race meeting is on the Race Calendar page.

  • More Aussies overseas - Victorian Thomas Randle has headed to the UK to compete in a round of the British Super One series. He will drive with the Dan Holland Racing team. Randle will first compete in a club event this weekend. Also, WA Rookie ace, Brock Kenny, has received an invite to compete at the Mini RoK World Cup in Italy in October.
