August Races At Toowoomba

Feature Class - Dependable Sheds Cadets
Started with 1 x qualifying which saw Lachlan Hughes take pole by 0.074secs from Josh Radford, followed by Thomas Shields, Jaydon Wilcox, Aiden James & Ethan Wilcox. Hughes & Radford battled for the lead throughout the day with Hughes getting the win in 3 of the 4 races. Shields was 3rd staying in front of the battling Aiden James and the Wilcox boys.

Rookies
Cameron Shields had a day to remember with 4 wins, Zak Hudson having his first meet in rookies was closing the gap in 2nd.  Nick James rounded out the podium after battles with Lachlan Paech, Will Bruce, Nathan Gallagher, Liam Thompson, Layton Smith & Jackson Smith.

Junior National Light
Tyson Iseppi showed best speed with Will Brown closing in followed by Jack Smith and Hunter NcElrea. Greg Gallagher suffered a trying day.

With the Over 40’s drivers opting to nominate in Clubman Heavy, this field was the biggest of the day and provided plenty of action with youngun Chris Williams taking 4 wins from a variety of 2nd place finishes including Bruce Turpin and David Bossons with Kevin Cosser, Andrew Paech, Tony Knight, Greg Cooper, Steve Ryan, William Feldham & Terry Sheedy all sharing a multitude of results.
