Bits worth noting:

  • Motocross star Chad Reed has done what many can only dream of; building a kart track in his own back yard. More, including video, on HERE.

  • Part-time Indycar driver Jay Howard has taken on the United States distribution rights for the Praga product line. 'Praga USA' is a new company that was launched at the recent Rotax Pan American Championship and is located in Indianapolis. Praga USA will house a national level race team, offer sales of karting equipment as well as set up dealers throughout the United States. "Having my own race team and a product that I can be in charge of is something that has been a goal of mine for quite sometime" Howard said.

  • The Eastern Goldfields club's annual Da$h for Ca$h will take place in Kalgoorlie on November 10 and 11. A minimum prize of $10,000 has been pledged for the Open Performance/KZ2 Invitational class. There will also be a Pro Leopard class ($5k prize), with all the usual categories also on the card. "(There is) 10k on the line again, 5k to the winner" organiser Michael Patrizi informed KartSportNews.
