Karting News Briefs

  18 October 2012

Tids 'n Tads from around the traps:

  • Follow the three Aussies at the Macau round of the World Championships today and across the weekend. Live timing link HERE.

  • Geelong Kart Club will be running Junior Max as a feature class at their October club race day. The class will have a 20-lap final and all entrants go in the draw for a set of MOJO tyres (to collect tyres, drivers must be present at presentations!). A Pro Tour round will run at the venue in June. "All are welcome and we are trying to promote the class for next year" the club's Dominic Albanese informed KartSportNews. "Next year we will be offering the class at every clubday, and every clubday where there are five entries or more, the club will sponsor a new set of Mojo tyres as a random draw."

  • Jake Parsons' Day Three Diary from the final day of the Skip Barber Karting Shootout is on the AKA site HERE. Further information about the 3-day shootout, where the winner receives a fully funded campaign in a Skip Barber Racing series, is on ekartingnews HERE.
