International news:

  • Full video clips of all four KF1 Finals at the Macau round of the World Championships on the weekend are on YouTube. Click the links for Race Four, Race Three, Race Two and Race One.

  • Davide Foré will attend the SKUSA SuperNationals next month, but he won't be racing. The four-time World Champion will join CRG-USA, which is fielding 23 drivers, as Team Manager/Driver Coach for the event. "There is no doubt his knowledge and expertise will be beneficial for all under our tent, and we hope it will translate into a number of podiums and championships" said CRG-USA owner Stacey Cook.

  • The Americans are desperate to win a Rotax World Final and their campaign spares no expense. The 'Team USA' drivers were scheduled to take part in a private closed test at Ocala Gran Prix on the weekend. "It is my goal to bring Team USA their first world championship and I am trying to give the team all the tools they need to perform" said OGP President, Jorge Arellano. That included assembly of nearly fifteen brand new chassis (from four different manufacturers) and new engines with brand new Mojo tires, full My-Chron data acquisition systems, a group of tuners and mechanics, three days of meals, subsidised accommodation and air fares. "We will have a representative from Europe for each of the four chassis brands, several data acquisition computers and a qualified person to run them" Arellan added. The schedule runs like the World Final, allowing drivers to install seats on Friday morning, followed by a run through of practice sessions and parc ferme procedures, then hundreds of laps turned before some mock racing takes place on the Sunday.
