  1 November 2012

press release

Further to the successful live broadcasting of the CIK-FIA World Championship held at Macau, the International Karting Commission and the CMC production team will be at it again on Saturday 10 November. This time it is the third and last round of the U18 World Championship (for Drivers under 18 years old) which will be honoured, and so will the final meeting of the Academy Trophy.

Thanks to the excellent co-operation with the CIK-FIA, the circuit of Bahrain and the local television, we are going to propose a superb spectacle”, said a rejoiced Ben Constanduros, the young and dynamic manager of CMC. “We shall indeed ensure 4 hours of live broadcasting in order to show both Races of the Academy, but also the two Prefinals and the Final of the U18 World Championship. Considering that this event will be the first in the history of the CIK-FIA to be organised at night and that the fight for the two titles which will be awarded is still totally open, it promises a superb sporting moment for every Karting enthusiast!

The track of Bahrain, built close to the circuit which hosts Formula One, will be covered by 6 cameras to enable television viewers not to miss any of the track action. As for the comments, in English, they will be carried out by the circuit Speaker, namely Ken Walker. So this Saturday 10 November, between 18h and 22h (local time, i.e. between 16h and 20h in Central Europe), it is on www.cikfia.tv that one will have to click!
