All Set For Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals

  26 November 2012

press release

Portimao/Algarve, November 23, 2012

Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals are ready to go! The most important event of the karting race season will be held from next Sunday 25 to the 1st of December, in the modern race track Kartódromo Internacional Algarve (KIA) in Portimao, were all participants, teams, media and supporters will find the best conditions to follow all the action.

A complete paddock structure, with space to every team, briefing tents, chassis and engine workshops, tyre assembly, petrol supply, timekeeping, welcome desk, headquarters, press room, TV devices, stewards room, results structure... will help the teams and drivers to think only in competition.

This year some communication tools are implemented to enable the enthusiasts all over the world to follow the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals; e.g. by watching the Internet Live Broadcast during the races and to visit BRP’s social media tools like Facebook to feel the spirit of the fabulous event.

This will be a great event:  “THE KARTING EVENT OF THE YEAR”!

It’s all ready to welcome no less than 276 drivers, from more than 60 nations, from all over the world, and everybody has worked hard – organisers, Rotax Partners... – to propose the ideal conditions for an attractive and fair competition.

The “success formula” is clear: An equal performance assured by pre-checked and sealed Rotax engines, a single type of tyres (MOJO) means that the final results only depends on the driver’s ability and experience.

For the next days, another important parameter, that will have great influence in the performance and results of all drivers, will be the weather; the Algarve is a very well known holiday region, usually sunny, and with pleasant temperature.

However, the rain is predicted to Saturday and Monday, and cloudy days on Sunday and Tuesday, so extra cares should be taken.

But in our Daily Report, about the RMCGF, this will be always a matter to talk about and confirm.

Welcome to the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals in Portimao.
