Super One Breeds More Rotax Champions

Super One congratulates its drivers who gained tremendous success at the Rotax MaxChallenge Grand Finals held at Portimao in Portugal from 28 November to 1 December. 

Proving that Super One is the best national series in the world for producing top line racers, out of the 24 current and former S1 racers present we had a win in Senior Max with Charlie Eastwood.  Edward Brand and Oliver Hodgson joined him on the podium with Harrison Scott tenth, Harry Webb winning Junior Max with Ross Gunn an excellent fourth place, Ben Cooper champion of DD2 plus David Griffiths on the DD2 Masters podium in third place with Martin Pierce fifth.

Young Josh White was called up with only three days notice and earned a front row place for the finals, his recovery drive was thwarted by a slow puncture. The British drivers’ outstanding success won the Nations Cup for the United Kingdom, ahead of Canada and Australia.  276 drivers from 60 nations competed in what is recognised as the unofficial world championships for the Rotax categories.
