  • It was announced last month that the 2013 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals will be held in New Orleans (USA) this November. The date for the Nola Motorsport Park event has now been confirmed as November 9 through to 16.

  • Junior karters wishing to compete in the inaugural WA Junior Rotax Championship are reminded that entry for the February 2/3 event closes THIS FRIDAY, January 11. The state championship is part of the Central Systems WA Junior Challenge at the Albany City Kart Club and boasts a prize pool of over $12,000 across six categories. Along with the blue plate, the winner of Junior Rotax will receive a free entry into the Rotax Pro Tour and a free set of Mojo tyres courtesy of IKD. All entrants will receive a free souvenir hoodie.   • KartSport Wellington (NZ) has announced a new partnership with Wynn’s New Zealand Ltd as naming rights sponsor of KartSport Wellington's Raceway. The circuit will now be known as KartSport Wellington's Wynn’s Raceway. Over the coming weeks KartSport Wellington's track will undergo some changes to introduce the Wynn’s name and livery as well as a fresh new look to its website.

  • AIDKA is reminding all its member kart clubs (there are almost 20 of them) that their affiliation fees are now due and that 2013 race licences will not be issued to club members until the club's paperwork is in order.
