ART GP Distributor Announced For Australia

Duvashen Padayachee's Rentcorp Motorsport has been announced as the Australian distributor for the ART Grand Prix range of karts.
"We are aiming to break into the competitive CIK Stars of Karting, Rotax Pro Tour and TAG/TAG-R categories as this is where the ART chassis have been best performing in Europe" the ex-British F3 and current Porsche Carrera Cup Australia driver informed KartSportNews.
The first shipment of karts is due to arrive by the end of January with plans for a display at the Brian Farley Memorial at Eastern Creek. They will also be on display at the Bathurst 12-Hour where the Rentcorp Motorsport team will be competing in a Porsche GT3.
Despite it being only one year since ART Grand Prix made its first steps in karting competition, the brand scored some impressive results, such as a 1-2 finish in the CIK-FIA European Championship for KF2 with Ben Barnicoat and Charles Leclerc, the win scored by Leclerc in the WSK Euro Series, the Frenchman's runner-up position in the CIK-FIA Under-18 Championship (the two ART GP drivers flanked Australia’s Joseph Mawson on the podium at the final round), and the third place recorded by Ben Hanley in the KZ1 World Championship.
"After racing in British Formula 3 last year... I was invited as a guest to the Silverstone Grand Prix by GP3/GP2 series, where I met with Frédéric Vasseur from the ART Grand Prix single seater team" Padayachee said.
"We spoke about forming this partnership, and things have progressed from there to where we are now."
Rentcorp Motorsport are now importing the TS-01 senior chassis (which is available in 4 different chassis stiffness for use in Rotax MAX, TaG 125cc, Clubman, KF and KZ classes), plus the TS-04 and TS-05 chassis for Cadets and Junior classes.
Rentcorp Motorsport will stock a wide range of genuine ART spare parts and Starlane GPS data logging systems. As an introductory offer, Rentcorp Motorsport will provide all ART Australia drivers with discounted official ART Grand Prix race suits and team wear (made by Freem).
