  • VKS prize boost... All J-MAX drivers who enter and race at all four rounds of the Victorian Karting Series will go into a random draw for a new Junior MAX engine. This is in addition to the already announced new Arrow chassis for almost every class, and the $1000 of tyres that will go to the winner of each class. Round 1 is at Geelong on February 16/17.

  • Joseph Mawson competes in the WSK Master Series round this weekend at LaConca. The event can be followed via live timing HERE. Live stream TV is set to play HERE. Series information, entry lists etc HERE. Joey will drive Top Kart/Parilla/Vega #223 in KF.

  • James Macken will shortly be leaving for Italy where he will be staying at the Birel factory and travelling with the team until May, plus doing some racing. "I’m sure it’s going to be a major culture shock at first living in a foreign country by myself, but I’m sure in no time flat I will be living it up like a local! This is an amazing opportunity which has been presented to me by Birel owner Ronni Sala and I am aiming to make every day count while I am there." Macken also announced the continued support of Oakley and Sanctuary Cove, plus a new sponsor, Lucky Bling.

  • With all the kids around the country heading back to school, the AKA has has come up with something to make their text books more exciting – karting cover sheets for schoolbooks. There are six designs to choose from. More info, images and links to the downloads on the AKA site HERE.

  • Any J-Max driver that enters the Geelong Junior Challenge on April 21 (where Junior Rotax will be the feature class) will go into a random draw to win a new J-MAX engine. Also, at every club race day at Geelong Kart Club where Junior Rotax has five entries or more, a new set of Mojo D2 tyres will be drawn at random to one driver.

  • 2012 CIK Stars of Karting videos, 3 parts covering the Pro Light finals at Todd Rd. This was a great telecast that included information about the karts, various interviews plus the on-track action.
