  • Karting Tasmania State President and National Karting Council Delegate, Steph Peters, was recently honoured as the CAMS Tasmanian Karting Person of 2012 at an award dinner held in Hobart. More on the AKA site HERE.

  • Entry is now open for Round 3 of the 2013 Rotax Pro Tour. The event runs at Lithgow NSW on 1-3rd March. Links to the Supp Regs and Entry Form are on the Race Calendar page. Entry can also be done online via CM:S, but PLEASE NOTE - if entering online, you must select the host club as Sydney Kart Racing Club from the menu.

  • The CIK-FIA has made a number of changes to the 2013 international karting calendar (though they are yet to actually be approved by the FIA World Motor Sport Council). The KF and KF-Junior World Championships will be contested over two events, and the Final will be held in Bahrain from 21 to 23 November - this is the same weekend as the SKUSA Supernationals in Las Vegas... The Asia-Pacific Championship will be contested over two events in the KF category and divided between Suzuka and Macao for the KZ and KF-Junior categories. The Superkart calendar will be expaned to four events with the addition of a Dutch round at Assen. Full detail on the CIK-FIA website HERE.

  • The telecast of the Junior finals from last year's final round of the CIK Stars of Karting series is now on YouTube. In three parts, it includes footage from both fianls, plus a feature on Dunlop Kartsport and inside the DPE/Arrow factory:
