Saller Switches Teams Ahead of Pro Tour

“A new team for Saller following debut International success”

Michael Saller can confirm he will join Tony Kart Australia and Karting World effective from Round 3 of the Rotax Pro Tour to be held at Lithgow, NSW on March 1-3. This announcement comes on the back of a successful international debut at last weekend’s Trans-Tasman Challenge held at Manawatu Toyota Raceway, Palmerston North, NZ.

The chance to race overseas and test your skills against some of the World’s best is crucial in the development of Michael as a driver, an is something he will carry with him throughout his career.

“New Zealand was an absolute blast and a great experience. Manawatu Raceway was one of the best tracks I have ever driven on and I believe it will definitely give me more confidence racing back home,

''I learnt a lot whilst I was over there and would love to return for future events, the experience would not have been possible without the support of Brad Tyrrell and Pacific Kartsport NZ who were a huge help to me over in New Zealand, aswell as my own sponsors MSP Shopfittings, Xzuit, Direct Management Group and Troy Farley Race Engines,” Saller added.

With the next round of the Rotax Pro Tour less than a fortnight away, Michael was proud to announce a new partnership with well renowned Tony Kart Australia and Sydney based, Karting World. This new relationship will extend throughout the remainder of the 2013 racing season.

''I am so grateful for this opportunity and I believe it is a really exciting new dimension to my career. I believe I have the best in the business behind me with Tom Williamson and Troy Farley helping me along the way and I hope with this backing I can strong second half of the year,” said Saller.

Michael will be working with former Australian Formula Ford and V8 Ute driver, and Karting expert, Tom Williamson trackside which Saller himself believes will be a great asset to his driving. Tom admits he is ecstatic at the chance to work with Michael.

“I’m really excited that Michael has joined the Karting World team, I’m looking forward to working with I'm as he is one the true emerging stars in Australian Motorsport,

“I can’t wait for Lithgow as it is one of Michael’s home tracks which is a seriously exciting prospect, I believe our new partnership will bring great success,” Williamson concluded.

Round 3 of the Rotax Pro Tour will take place at Lithgow City Raceway, Lithgow, NSW on March 1-3.
