EKS Kart On Display At Junior Top Guns

EKS Motorsports held an open test day at Todd Road recently where several karters tried out the new EKS chassis from Italian brand Eagle Kart System.

"Firstly we would like to thank John Wall and the committee of GKCV for allowing us to hold the test day at the track" EKS Motorsports' Tony Pondeljak informed KartSportNews.

"We would like to thank all the drivers that made the effort to come out on Saturday for a drive of the new EKS Predator Chassis. Overall we had a very good response with drivers enjoying the handling and finding the braking system extremely responsive."

An EKS chassis will be on display at the Junior Top Guns meeting at Oakleigh this Saturday, January 21 and representatives will be there to answer questions.

Eagle Kart Systems have been manufacturing chassis for around 30 years, including building karts for a number of well known brands.

"Scott Rogers has been appointed the Queensland Dealer, and we are looking at doing a test day in Queensland in the not too distant future" Pondeljak said.

The local team has already signed a driver, Victorian Simon Salvatico, who is making a comeback to the sport.

"Because of his experience in the class, Simon was going to debut the chassis at the Formula 100 Nationals, but of course the event was cancelled. He will now race the EKS in the DD2 class of the Rotax Pro Tour."

EKS Motorsports are an authorised Rotax Dealer.
