David Sera re-wrote the record books today. The Australian karting icon re-set, and then broke again, the number of National Karting Championships won by an individual. His victories in Clubman Heavy and X30 Light, both aboard his self-branded Deadly kart, took his incredible tally to 17 Australian Championships. The fourth round of the 2014 Rotax Pro Tour was run at Lithgow NSW on the weekend. WA's Sam Dicker had a debut win in Jnr Trophy class. - Rotax Euro Challenge round 1 update: Lehane starts 5th, shuffled to 9th/10th in opening lap but out after contact on lap 2.
- Rotax Euro Challenge round 1 update: Pierce Lehane 5th in pre-final having led for part of lap 1. Jack Black's meeting is over, unable to transfer from the Last Chance race. Live video, timing & results are HERE (event is officially running 30 minutes behind schedule due to red flags in earlier events).

- Live video, timing & results, Rotax Euro Challenge round 1 - follow Pierce Lehane and Jack Black HERE. After qualifying 34th officials cancelled Lehane's fastest 3 times after contact with another kart (though Lehane reckons the other guy ran into him and almost flipped the Aussie). Pierce then embarked on a remarkable recovery in the heats - 3rd, 4th, 1st and 5th - to sit 3rd on points prior to the pre-final. Jack Black (qual 36th) will start 11th for the last chance race, where the 6 will transfer to the finals.
