Saturday November 29

  • Rotax World Final (pre-finals cancelled due to heavy rains) final amended results:
    • Nations Cup: 1 South Africa, 2 Australia, 3 Spain
    • DD2: Jordan Boys made the podium in DD2! Starting 3rd, the Aussie grabbed 2nd in the first turn and held the position for several laps before 3-time World Champion Ben Cooper made his way through. The top three spread well away from the rest of the field, with Boys taking a comfortable third place. Top three: 1 Sean Babington (UAE/UK), 2 Ben Cooper (CAN), 3 Jordan Boys (AUS). Jason Pringle finished 18th.
    • DD2 Masters: A huuuuge drive by Steve Ellery from the back row to get in the top ten with 9th place, which subsequently turned into 7th with disqualifications ahead, including Martin Pierce who crossed the line first! Top three: 1 Mikko Laine 2 (FIN), 2 Cristiano Morgado (RSA), 3 Antti Ollikainen (FIN). Hamish Leighton 22nd, Adam Hunter 28th (DNF).
    • Senior MAX: 1 Carlos Gil (ESP), 2 Bruno Borlino (PRT), 3 Zac Claman-Demelo (CAN). Ryan Kennedy 14th, Brad Jenner 26th, Andrew Carey 27th
    • Junior MAX: 1 Jueri Vips (EST), 2 David Wooder (UK), 3 Max Timmermans (BEL). Great comeback from Byrce Fullwood to finish 11th after being almost last at the end of lap 1. Zane Goddard 12th.

Kip Foster has won TaG Masters in Vegas, leading home Will Power in an Aussie and Arrow 1-2! Scott Simpson was 9th. David Sera finished 3rd in TaG Senior, having earlier led the final. Australian-built Deadly Karts were 2nd and 3rd and Ben Stewart just missed the podium in 4th. Jack Doohan traded the lead in TaG Cadet but was beaten to the line and came 2nd. Lochie Hughes charged from the back to 10th. More to come...
