Heat 2 was where Mouzouris took his strangle hold on the Junior National Light field. Mouzouris got jumped off the start and went as far back as fourth as Olivia Dalla-Zuanna, Jordan Caruso and Jorydn Sinni all jumped ahead of the #85 karter. The Junior National Light newcomer showed a cool head and by lap four had made his way back to the lead of the race. Mouzouris lead from there in heat 2 showing his true pace opening up a huge gap of 6.7 seconds by the end of the race.

Mouzouris off pole for the final and with a much better start held onto the lead after one lap. This was a much closer race for the young karter with challenges coming from Jordan Caruso and Corey Arnett throughout the 25 lap final. The young steerer was able to keep a cool head and hold of the challenges from his rival and make a clean sweep of the Geelong State Series Round, taking maximum points to lead the Victorian State Sereis.

Mouzouris has just recently aligned with Haase karts and is proving he will be the man to beat to the Victorian State Title in the ultra-competitive Junior National Light class.
