press release 1 May 2015

The WSK Super Master Series finished its 2015 tour last Sunday when the International Circuit Napoli in Sarno (Italy) hosted the fourth and last round of the Series. The high average number of participants, near to 190, confirms the huge success of the events promoted by WSK Promotion in its 10th year of activity. The winners of the four categories are ready for a rematch. The occasion will be next summer at the Adria International Karting Raceway for the first WSK Night Edition, scheduled for next 4th July.

Ardigò controls the standings in KZ2

He made his bid for victory in the series with two successes in the first two rounds. Marco Ardigò (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega) won in KZ2 keeping at bay his main rival, the Finnish Simo Puhakka (CRG-Maxter-Vega), the winner of the remaining two rounds. Third position for the excellent French Anthony Abbasse (Sodi-TM), always in the top positions in all the races.

Nielsen overtakes and wins in KF

In the head-to-head race between the Danish Nicklas Nielsen (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega) and the Polish Karol Basz (Kosmic-Vortex-Vega) the former finally managed to have the upper hand. Nielsen overtook Basz thanks to the second place - behind the excellent Italian Felice Tiene (CRG-Parilla) - he scored in Sarno. Tiene gained the third position getting ahead of the Russian Alex Vartanyan (Tony Kart-Vortex), 4th with the same number of points.

Novalak steady in KFJ

Also the English Clement Novalak (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega) built his success in KFJ thanks to his victories in the first two rounds of the Series. He held off his most dangerous opponent, the American Logan Sargeant (FA-Vortex-Vega), who was more consistent during the series. However, Sargeant did not manage to get ahead of Novalak in Sarno and finished in second position for few points. He needed a victory, but the winner was the Belgian Ulysse De Pauw (BirelArt-Parilla), who finished third in the final standings.

Hauger wins in 60 Mini

In Sarno, Dennis Hauger (CRG-TM-Vega) had some trouble in the Prefinal: he nearly put in jeopardy his success in the 60 Mini. The Norwegian had to recover many positions in the Final to keep the leadership ahead of the Italian Mattia Muller (Energy-TM). Muller was, eventually, the runner-up but he had to fend off the attacks of the excellent Leonardo Marseglia (Zanardi-TM), who finished in third position thanks to his undisputable win in Sarno.
