Kiwi Pro Tour Squad Back To Full Strength

press release 5 June 2015

The Kiwi squad contesting this year's Australian Rotax Pro Tour is back to full strength with seven of the country's top category karters entered at the fourth round at Warwick in Queensland this weekend.

Heading the charge is young Auckland ace Matthew Payne who is currently second in the Junior Max Trophy class points standings after claiming a second class round win at the third round of the series last month.

Also impressive, and heading into the weekend fourth in the Junior Max class is Palmerston North 15-year-old Dylan Drysdale who qualified second quickest and won two heats at the third round.

Joining Payne and Drysdale at the Sandy Creek kart track at Warwick in inland Queensland, are the Stewart sisters, Ashleigh and Madeline, from Wellington, Brendon Hart from Palmerston North and Aarron Cunningham from Auckland.

Ashleigh and Madeline contested the full Pro Tour last year in the Junior Trophy class and this year Madeline has moved to the Junior Max class, Ashleigh to Rotax Max Light.

Brendon Hart completes the resident Kiwi lineup and will run in the Rotax Max Heavy class at Warwick this weekend while Dylan Drysdale's older brother Josh, who is now living and working in Australia, will compete in the DD2 class.
