Junior Super Series Final Set To Ignite

The 5th and penultimate round of the Cool Drive Junior Super Series is set to ignite the Gosford Showground this Sunday as part of the Central Coast Speedway Kart Club’s prestigious Alan Hann Memorial race meeting.

This annual race meeting always attracts a huge field of drivers  who come to race in honour of one of speedway karting’s founding fathers and this year with the added 22 plus JSS drivers, the pits are certain to be overflowing ensuring a magnificent race meeting.

For the Cool Drive Super Series drivers it is all about gain valuable points at this, the last regular round meeting. After this weekend the fields points will be tallied to find out the order going into the all-important standalone Grand Final on August 1st .

As the Series heads into this weekend’s round the top 7 drivers are all poised to change positions with all 7 only covered by 39 points.

Jake Donaldson heads the field however he is only 19 points clear of Kaidon Brown in 2nd place . These two drivers came in as favourite’s for the super series along with Andrew Sayre who sits in 3rd place only 8 points behind Kaidon. As it has turned out their constancy has them at the pointy end of the field.

These 3 drivers better have their wits about them because right behind them is a great battle going on between Liam Camilleri in 4th only 2 points off Andrew and then a 3 way tie between Kyle Mock, Zak Blanch and Bailey Goodwin who all are placed only 10 points behind Liam.

All the other JSS drivers are in postions to climb up the championship table and the racing is far from over and the top placed lady racer Brittany Hickey is another driver that could have a bearing on the final placings.

This weekend has the potential to really shake things up going into the grand final in 3 weeks time.
