Marcus Le Delle is the new DR Racing Kart importer/distributor for the Asia-Pacific region.
A former TonyKart Australia and Dick Johnson Racing driver, La Delle has rekindled his friendship with 5-time World Champion Danilo Rossi to reintroduce the brand to Australia.
"The brand had great success here via another importer, the karts were extremely competitive and won a few prestigious titles including a KZ title" La Delle told KartSportNews.
"Danilo is committed to growing the brand throughout the world and after the US importers were established, Australia/New Zealand/Asia was next on his list."
Le Delle is building a DR Racing Karts team for 2016, but the brand will make its National 're-debut' at the week's Rotax Pro Tour round at Eastern Creek. Marcus himself will race in Rotax Heavy and Damon Schofield in DD2.
"I am speaking with a number of the previous DR distributors from a number of years ago to try and rekindle and rebuild that relationship" La Delle added. "With some luck, karts will be available by September through state-based dealers."
The chassis lineup will include S97 (30mm), M99 (30/32mm) and M92-15 (32mm) models to suit TaG, KF and KZ setups, plus the new Xator Evo DD2 chassis in 30mm and 30/32mm trims.
All karts come with magnesium componentry, V09 brake systems, Sniper camber/castor adjusters and Danilo's signature 'Gold Chrome' sticker kits.
