Donaldson Captures Cool Drive Junior Super Series

Jake Donaldson has proved too strong for the competition in the Cool Drive Junior Super Series.
The Sydney based Junior Speedway kart racer led the series from the outset claiming Round 1 back in April. He then finished a close 2nd in round 2.
Coming into round 3 Jake had a slender lead over the competition, but after a dominant display in June coming off the back of his NSW Title win, Jake extended his lead in the Championship.

The July round was washed out so that only left the Grand Finale at Gosford Show Ground on the first weekend in August.
Going into the Grand Final, Jake was on a high after signing a new contract with INOX Supreme Lubricants. He knew that even with a points lead he still had to make sure that he focused on the overall prize of the weekend & not just the round victory.
After a slow start in heat one, which he stated that he needed to refocus, Jake came out & made the A-Dash which put him on the front row of the feature event.
The team discussed what he needed to do to claim the Championship & he did that to a T.
Jake quickly settled into 2nd place & made sure that he just had to pace himself to get to the end of the 25 lap final.
After the race the Team knew that it was time to celebrate & enjoy the spoils of Victory. Big Thanks to all the Crew.
