Silhouette Out Of the Shadows At City Of Melbourne Titles

Silhouette Race Karts had a strong showing at the prestigious City of Melbourne Titles at Todd Road last weekend.
The recently released Silhouette 'FR' series TaG and Clubman chassis were on rails and the Silhouette Race Engines prepared X30s and KA100s performed faultlessly all weekend.
Clubman Heavy
Glenn Riddell dominated Clubman Heavy using a Silhouette FR-30 chassis powered by a Silhouette Race Engines prepared KA100 engine.
On Saturday he qualified 3rd on a damp track, then finished 2nd in the 1st Heat setting the fastest lap of the weekend.
He then went on to be undefeated on Sunday winning the 2nd Heat and Pre-Final and then leading the Final from start to finish to win by over 2 seconds.

TaG Masters
Steve Riddell won TaG Masters for the second year in a row using a Silhouette FR-30/32 chassis powered by a Silhouette Race Engines prepared X30 engine.
On Saturday things didn't go his way qualifying in 4th and then finishing 3rd and 5th in the two Heats - although he set the fastest lap in both Heats.
It all came together on Sunday winning both the Pre-Final and Final to make it two wins for Team Silhouette.
Stephen Simpson also made the podium in 3rd place powered by a Silhouette Race Engines prepared X30 engine.

TaG Heavy
Glenn Riddell also competed in TaG Heavy using a Silhouette FR-30/32 chassis powered by a Silhouette Race Engines X30 engine.
He had a consistent Saturday qualifying in 5th and then finishing 3rd and 5th in the 2 Heats.
On Sunday he stepped it up a notch coming from grid 5 to finish the Pre-Final in 2nd position.
In the Final he challenged for a third victory for Team Silhouette but just missed out finishing in a close 2nd position.
