Great Fathers' Day At Kurri Kurri Speedway

After a slow start to the day due to overnight rain, Kurri Kurri soon heated up with the sights & sounds of over 60 race ready speedway karts & drivers taking to this brilliant dirt track.
It was great to see so many fathers enjoying the day and thanks to Redline Media Plus, who were on hand to capture the special moments, some of those meoments can be seen here.
The club welcomed back a past Club Champion Jonathon Bright and rising Speedcar star Mitch Brien.
Fineline Fabrication sponsored this event and the racing was incredible with many racers during the day only being decided on the last lap.

It was great to see so many Cadet 12 drivers turn up, and boy did they put on a show for the crowd on the hill! Drivers like Matt Elliott (Clubman Heavy) and sisters Katelyn (KT Modified) & Brittany Hickey (Juniors) as well as James Angilley (Cadet 12) showed great form heading into the Australian Speedway Kart Title in 2 weeks.
Special mention to the winner of Junior J, Liam Walker, on his first race back after an injury. Liam drove great all day & was rewarded with a win in the Feature ahead of Bailey Goodwin & Andrew Sayre.
