Armstrong 8th At WSK Final Cup

Kiwi Marcus Armstrong has wrapped up his first full year karting in Europe with an eighth place finish in the KF class at the WSK Final Cup event in Italy on Sunday.

The 15-year-old Tony Kart team driver from Christchurch was one of the pace-setters early in the event, qualifying second and carding a 7-4-5 run through the heats to start the Pre-Final fifth.

However he was shuffled back to ninth in that race and made only one place up to finish eighth in the Final

This year's season-ending Final Cup event was the 10th organised by Italy's WSK organisation and attracted a 160-strong event across senior and junior classes.
