KA To Look At Club Level Karting

by Mark Wicks 25 January 2016

We hear whispers that Karting Australia has engaged an independent expert to look at and grow club level karting in this country.

It is believed this person has an involvement in motorsport, including limited karting exposure, and has recently been talking with a number of key stakeholders in the karting industry.

While there has yet to be any official word from Karting Australia, it is understood that KA wanted to get the ‘top level’ of karting set up as a showcase for the sport, then use that to help foster an uptake in participation at the grass roots level.

With a KA national series now in place and KA reasonably happy with how that is progressing, the organization is now ready to embark on the next stage, particularly in relation to recruiting juniors and assisting club development.

Expect some further info from Karting Australia in the not too distant future.
