Life's Good On the Central Coast

press release 16 March 2016

LG air conditioners  have been supplying families on the Central Coast with affordable cooling options during the hot summer days for a vast number of years. But even an LG air conditioner won’t be able to cool the hot action that will happen this Sunday at the Gosford Showground as the Central Coast Speedway Kart Club conducts round 2 of the 2016 championship.

LG Air conditioners are the proud sponsors of the "March Madness”  meeting which will see over 60 of speedway’s best karters contest the event .

After the bitter disappointment of the Summer Sizzle meeting held 4 weeks ago when the heavens opened half way thru the meeting washing out the remainder of the day, the committee and karters are all looking forward to hitting the circuit again .

For some karters who didn’t quite get their set ups right it was a god send that they get the chance to do it all again, however others like A1 in the Clubman Heavy Class Matt Elliott  will be rueing the opportunity of getting their campaign under way after 2 great heats to start the meeting .

At the meeting a number of new karters made their debut to speedway racing and showed that in time they will be stars of the future with very consistent heats.

This race meeting will double as round 2 of the 2016 Junior Super Series. After the success of the series last year the CCSKC had no hesitations of again running the series during 2016.

The drivers that contest this series are without a doubt the future of the sport with many going on to further motorsport careers such as last years series Champion Jake Donaldson who has  this year moved into the Formula Ford racing series.

Over 20 talented Juniors will battle out the day trying to gain as many valuable championship points as possible .

This meeting is going to big huge and everyone involved would like to thank LG Air Conditioners for their support in 2016

If  you haven’t had the opportunity to see speedway karts before why not come out to the Gosford Showground on Sunday and watch this spectacle. Racing is due to start at 9:30am and full canteen facilities available during the day and for all food and drink needs.

The meeting is open to all licensed  KA drivers and we encourage and welcome all drivers to come and give it a go , once you do ... you’ll be back !
All details can be found at www.ccskc.com.au

The Central Coast Speedway Kart Club would like to acknowledge and thank their 2016 club sponsors: Huckel Excavations, Morley Constructions, Precision Motorsport, LG, Bleeding Edge Computers, Davistown RSL, Pro Kart Solutions, Coastal Air Conditioning
