  • EurOz has teamed up with Prisma Electronics and will soon have available the top of the range HiPrema Evo 3 tyre pressure gauge. It will be sold for a time at an introductory offer price of $250.   • Entries are now open for round 3 of the 2016 Rotax Pro Tour. The meeting takes place at Sydney's Eastern Creek International Raceway on April 15 to 17. Exclusive practice days have been arranged for Monday 28th & Tuesday 29th March (Monday is a Public Holiday), plus Friday 8th and Sunday 10th April. Entries are only taken online and close April 10.   • Dirt Kart World reports that AIDKA president Tony Connor has resigned due to personal reasons. "We ask the dirt karting community to give Tony and family the respect and space they deserve at this time. The AIDKA Members would like to thank Tony for his time and effort and send our best wishes to the entire Connor Family."

  • The day after finishing 4th in the AGP, Daniel Ricciardo headed to Pucka and tore laps in his Ricciardo Kart. Video by Speedcafe. That's Jack Perkins in the other kart. More of this can be watched on Channel Ten's RPM show this Sunday.

  • Queensland karter Josh Smith is moving straight to V8s, having signed with Brad Jones Racing to contest the Kumho V8 touring Car Series. The 18-year-old has earmarked the category as the next step of his motor racing career after a decade of racing karts that netted him three Queensland state titles. See more on Speedcafe HERE.

  • The official race program for this weekend's round 2 of the Australian Kart Championship at Puckapunyal is now online. Click HERE to read the 32-page magazine. Includes entry lists, championship points, timetable, round 1 review etc. Sunday's racing will be live streamed via KA's www.karting.net.au site.

  • Vale: Raelene Fahlbusch. Blanchetown Kart Club has reported the sad passing of founding member Raelene Fahlbusch. "Condolences to all her family and friends from the Blanchetown Kart Club."

  • Australian Kart Championship round 2 will be live streamed from Pucka this Sunday.


  • The UK-based Formula Kart Stars Series will use Formula K chassis in the Junior and Super FKS classes this year. The karts are now manufactured by IPKarting, the third biggest kart manufacturer in the world that also builds OK1 and Praga karts. As part of the deal, Praga will also provide a factory test for the second and third placed drivers in the Praga R1R super car. The series will continue to use Wright Karts in the Cadet and Super Cadet categories.

  • Queensland's Oscar Comley will head into this weekend's second round of the Australian Kart Championship with a couple of new sponsors on board. Oscar and his crew have been working hard to secure the extra financial support needed to race at this level. “We are very happy to announce two new sponsors coming on board for Puckapunyal” said Oscar's father and team manager Leon Comley. “782 Motors- Classic, Lowriders & Muscle Cars along with Gold Coast Backpackers. It will be great to have these guys riding with us on the Easter long weekend.”
