TaG & Open Performance Invited To Broadford

  25 April 2016

The Victorian Superkart Club is offering races for all TAG karts and engine combinations at its next Club round at the Broadford State Motorcycle complex on May 15. Racing will be on the 2.14km road circuit and will consist of 4 heats and practice.

Open Performance (KA rules) will also be offered if enough numbers are received. This would be for karts up to 250cc that have raced before and would require the drivers to have had a KA B-grade licence in the past 3 years. Twin engines, singles and gearbox will be considered for this class.

“The Superkart Club has the opportunity to offer racing for competitors who have stopped running in sprint for whatever the reason" a club spokesperson informed KartSportNews.

“This is for competitors who still want to have a fun relaxing day at the track using their current equipment and enjoy something different.”

The club will help out with gearing ratios and setups to help new drivers out.

The club is also offering a reduced licence/club membership/entry for the first meeting attended. Rules and regulations will be available upon request.

The first of 2 Broadford race days will be on Sunday May 15 and the second will be Saturday June 11th.

Expressions of interest should contact the race secretary at vskc_race_sec@bigpond.com or call Rod Clarke on 0408 358 357.
