Doohan Denies Allegation

Kating Australia Chairman Mick Doohan has denied the assault allegation that has been recently filed with Southport police.
Karting Australia published the following statement on the Association's website karting.net.au yesterday (7 June):
STATEMENT FROM KARTING AUSTRALIA
It is understood that a Mr Peter Edgar, resident of Southport, Queensland has made a complaint to the police regarding the conduct of Michael Doohan at the North Burleigh Surf Lifesaving Club on Monday 30 May 2016.
Mr Doohan vehemently denies the unsubstantiated allegations made.
Edgar is not a member of the Australian Karting Association Ltd.
No further statements will be made at this time.
