The Mackay Kart Club held a Come-And-Try day at the club's circuit on Saturday.
"We had lots of interested people from last weekend’s display at the Big Boys Toys Expo" said the club's David Sturgeon.

"We decided to invite them along to have a run in a race kart to see if we could turn their interest into a need to join our sport of karting."
The day was a great success with around 20 people taking the opportunity to drive the karts. Cadet, Junior and Senior aged drivers all had a go.
"A number of these people have now showed serious interest and wanted information on club membership as well as where they could purchase equipment. Overall, a very successful day for the club" he added.
