Sceats Impresses at Race of Stars

Kiwi karter Liam Sceats has impressed at the fourth annual Race of Stars international kart race meeting on Queensland's Gold Coast over the weekend.
Contesting the Cadet 12 class the young Auckland driver qualified sixth quickest in a 32-strong field and earned an event-best third place in the first heat, before fifths in both the second heat and the class Final.
The three-day meeting was part of the big SuperFest promotion leading up to the Castrol Gold Coast 600 Supercar race on the streets of Surfers Paradise next weekend.
