CRG Starts Year on an Unbelievable High
 
There has been a lot going on behind the scenes at St George Karts and CRG, as we expand our presence and ability to deliver quality karting goods to our customers. Read on to hear about the latest developments and new product information and how CRG is making karting news all over the world.
 

CRG Headlines 1st, 2nd and 3rd Placing In This Year’s First KZ2 Race
 

WSK Champions Cup held in Adria, Italy.

CRG has claimed the entire podium in KZ2, with a top three win in the WSK Champions Cup held in Adria, Italy. Victory in the first race of the year went to new prodigy Stan Pex, followed by KZ 2015 European Champion, Flavio Camponeschi in second place and 2015 World Champion Jorrit Pex, in third.  
 
Aside from dominating the KZ2 class, CRG also took podium placings in OK-Junior and 60 Mini. In OK-Junior it was Gillian Henrion who achieved second for the team and in 60 Mini, it was Alfio Spina under Team Gamato who took out a stunning first place victory.
 
This marks the start of a strong year ahead for team CRG and it will be exciting to see how it all shapes up.
 

SGK at World’s Biggest Karting Show
 

St George Karts and PRD Featured in Germany

St George Karts were on show at the 25th International Kart Exhibition in Offenbach, Frankfurt Germany, displaying PRD Engines, Italsport and KSI karting products.
 
Visitors to the stand came from all over the world including Europe, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Japan, China and India.
 
The Offenbach kart show is the biggest in the world and gives the best karting manufacturers the opportunity to show the world their latest products and innovations. It also allows SGK to forge vital contacts within the industry, to ensure we keep bringing our customers products representing world’s best practice.

New European Division Consolidates SGK’s Presence As Supplier of Choice

In our quest to further entrench our position in Europe, St George Karts has opened a distribution centre in Austria, St George Karts GmbH. The new European distribution centre for all St George Karts’ products including PRD Engines, Italsport and KSI kart products is located in Schwarzenbach, Austria and will service our Northern Hemisphere customers.
 
The Australian distribution centre in Milperra, New South Wales, will continue to be the main distribution hub for our customers in Australia, New Zealand and Asia. The good news for Aussie customers is our ability to extend the range of product offered locally from Australian and International suppliers.

Supporting Local Drivers and the Aussie Karting Industry

CRG is committed to supporting the Australian Kart Championships, Rotax Pro Tour and NSW State Championships. Our truck, which is a feature at all race meets, is well-stocked with spare parts and offers a convenient way to buy components, particularly when a spare part is needed urgently track-side. The added bonus for all drivers is the opportunity to get technical advice and assistance from our highly qualified race support team on the day or afterwards at our Milperra HQ.

Over 20% of Drivers Choose CRG Chassis
At The Winter Cup Of Lonato
 
A total of 57 drivers will hit the track in CRG Chassis at the 22nd Winter Cup of Lonato, with very strong CRG line-ups across KZ2, OK, OK-Junior and Mini Rok.

The Winter Cup of Lonato is one of the most important race meetings of the early 2017 season as it marks the beginning of the international season.

The 22nd Winter Cup is scheduled for the 16-19 February and will see a top class lineup fielded by CRG Racing Team.  All of the team’s strongest drivers are ready to shine for the Italian outfit.
 
57 DRIVERS CHOOSE CRG CHASSIS
 
In total, 57 drivers will compete using CRG chassis across the four categories, accounting for about 20% of the 293 drivers entered. In KZ2, the most powerful class, over 25% of drivers have chosen to compete in CRG chassis and Mini Rok drivers choosing CRG make up 20% of the field.
