Wet-N-Dry Golden Power Series Round 3

Choosing the right tyre for the conditions was key in lots of the races that made up the third round of the 2017 Golden Power Series, hosted by Gippsland Go Kart Club on the weekend.

131 entries contested the event which featured qualifying, four heats and a final.

The locals fared well, Gippsland members winning six of the 13 classes that formed. Two of them, Samuel Downing & Caleb Spence, were undefeated across the weekend. Michael Bantick won the largest class of the event, KA3 Senior Light which had 18 starters.

Next event at Morwell is club race day on May 28. Gippsland also hosts the annual C&D Grade Titles in August.

Next round of the Golden Power Series is at Albury-Wodonga on July 1-2.
