Adrenalin Rush Racing Win Cooloola 6-Hour

Adrenalin Rush Racing has taken home the victory spoils at the Cooloola Kart Track, near Gympie in Queensland; over the weekend during the running of the ‘Cooloola 6 Hour’ that was also the fifth round of Powered by Honda ProKart Australia Queensland Endurance Kart Championship.

The Adrenalin Rush Racing took home the victory, after starting from pole position for the 6 hour event, and throughout the entire race they had only one main challenger, which was the Wollongong City Raceway Jets who managed to finish within a lap of the Adrenalin Rush Racing team and also record the fastest lap of the race.

The team home in third was the Queensland based PDS Grand Prix in a fine podium result ahead of the Hydralink Racing team in fourth place.

DQ International was the team that joined the Adrenalin Rush Racing team on the front row of the start line as they qualified in second place and finished just off the podium in fifth place at the completion of the race.

The Hydralink Racing team, who crossed the finish line in fourth place, have now taken control of the Queensland Championship overall point standings lead, with DQ International now placed in second spot, while the Wollongong City Raceway Jets are third and the PDS Grand Prix team are in fourth.

The Cooloola Kart Club, who entered a team, managed to finish in a strong sixth position with the team pleased with their end result.

A total of 13 teams, each made up of 2 – 3 team members headed up North for the event, which hosted some exciting and close racing action. The best part about round 5 was that there were no incidents throughout the entire weekend.

The media also took a great interest in the weekend’s event with Television as well as newspapers coverage, which made the event even more of a success.

Round 6 of the ProKart Australia Queensland Championship, the Toowoomba 6 Hour is to be held on the weekend of July 26 - 27 at the Greer Park Raceway, which is just east of Toowoomba.
