We had a total of 60 karts competing on Sunday and well contested classes with the biggest class of the day being the Cadets (ages 7-12yrs old) with 11 karts racing for a win. A dry track provided some fast speeds and good close competitive racing and exciting finals on the day.
This meeting was part of the Triple Crown Series which consists of a race meeting held at Mackay kart track on Saturday 4th May and Whitsunday Raceway on Sunday with the third round to be held at Townsville kart track on Saturday 18th May. There are some great sponsors on board and prizes will be awarded at the end of the series. (results will be forwarded after third round completed).
