Awesome Foursome Remain Unbeaten In VCS

After four rounds of the 2013 Austrans Victorian Country Series, four racers stand above all others. The awesome foursome of Dylan Hollis, Kyle Rethus, Chris Thomas and Scott King remain unbeaten in the final events of their respective classes.

Geelong’s Dylan Hollis, a former state champion and current Australia 2 in JNL is a star of junior karting, and has plied his trade in some of the larger fields in the series. He has prevailed in JNL on most occasions, including clean sweeps in Ballarat and Cobden.

South West’s Kyle Rethus also enjoyed a clean sheet at Ballarat and Cobden on his march to four straight Clubman Light final wins. The form driver of both Clubman Light and Tag Light, he has been blistering in his clubman, driving away from his rivals at will.

Oakleigh’s Chris Thomas has been a force in Country Series competition over recent seasons. But the way he has dominated Clubman Heavy in this year’s series has taken him to a new level. He was unbeaten at Cobden and Portland and has set the bar very high for his competitors.

Portland’s Scott King may not have the clean sweeps beside his name, but his record could be the sweetest of all. King has been challenged at every round in Tag Heavy, but has come to the fore when it counted. It must also be noted he has started each final from pole position.

So with Round 5 of the series looming at Hamilton in just over a week’s time, will these impeccable records remain intact?
