This weekend Non-Gearbox (Rotax) and Stock Honda superkarts will race for their 2013 Nationals at Mallala in South Australia.
Hosted by both the Adelaide and Victorian Superkart clubs, and proudly sponsored by Modbury Press, the event is set to be a good one.
Twenty non-gearbox entrants over two classes (light & heavy) will greet the starter on Saturday in what promises to be an interesting weekend weather wise.
While overall the entry numbers are down from previous years, most of the previous winners are there again for this event.
The real excitement will be for those entered in the new Stock Honda gearbox class as this will be their first National event.
While only having eleven karts entered, this class has received a lot of support and attention around Superkarting over the last eighteen months and is sure to provide some good close racing.
In a strange twist Saturday will also see a few 250 twin Superkarts hit the track as a support category.
If your in the Adelaide area head out to Malalla and have a look for yourself at what Superkarting is all about. Spectator entry is FREE and racing kicks of from 10:30 am.
