  • IAME's flagship 125cc TaG engine, the X30, is not raced in the UK, but that's about to change. The motor is now on sale over there with races planned for January 2014. Karting1.co.uk's Alan Dove track tested the engine for it's suitablility in the UK market - and liked what he felt...


  • And in official IAME news - IAME Italy has anounced that the Japan Automobile Federation has recently renewed the agreement to adopt the X30 engine in the prestigious JAF All Japan Championship and in the JAF Zone Championship for the period 2014 to 2016.

  • What's the record for the most number of drivers in an individual team at a karting event? Top Kart USA must be setting a record this weekend (or getting close to it!) by entering 34 drivers at the SKUSA Supernationals in Las Vegas. The team will have 11 drivers in both the TaG Senior and Cadet classes.

  • Speaking of Cadets in Vegas, four Australians will be racing the pocket rockets under the Pserra Racing (Tony Kart) banner this weekend - Austin Wells, Broc Freeney, Jack Doohan and Declan Fraser. Pserra will also run Queenslander Zane Goddard in Junior Rotax.
