  • Glenn Riddell of Silhouette Karts has been busy posting old-school karting videos on YouTube. A clip from the 1991 Victorian Open at Geelong is below. Many more videos (from the same meeting, plus the '91 Nationals, '86 Hong Kong GP etc - and surely there will be more coming) are on the Silhouette YouTube channel HERE.

  • French driver Emmanuel Vinuales won the 2013 CIK-FIA European Championship. Read a seaon wrap on the CIK-FIA website - "Vinuales wins after a Cliffhanger" - click HERE.

  • Karting is featured at the CAMS stand at the Grand Prix in Melbourne this weekend. Thousands of punters are expected to see the junior and senior class karts on display in the public general admission area. The karts will be promoted under the "Racing Starts Here" tag.

  • 1987(?) karting promo by Channel 7, filmed at the Oakleigh track. That's Russell Ingall in the red suit #6 tangling at 0:36; Drew Price in #3 plus plenty of other notable kart and car racers...
