  • Speedcafe reports that Northern Territory karter Bryce Fullwood has taken a step closer to his V8 Supercar dream after having a drive of a V8 at Paul Morris' Performance Driving Centre on the Gold Coast. Morris has taken the James Sera Karting Centre driver under his wing. "“His karting results speak volumes and it is rare to find a 16-year-old kid with his technical knowledge or such a desire to know how everything works" Morris told Speedcafe.   • RBM Karting in Bayswater, Perth, has recently been appointed a dealer for Praga Karts and components.

  • Adelaide based Brown Racing Karts is on the move. The company is in the process of moving into new premises over the next two weeks. The new address will be Unit 10/798 Marion Road, Marion.

  • How did you get into karting? It's a valid question and, with falling numbers, particularly at regional clubs, it's one we should probably all go back and have a think about. karting1.co.uk recently published an article titled "Are we doing enough to get new people into karting?"   • Big news for Rotax karters in North America. US Rotax distributor, Richard Boisclair's MAXSpeed Group, has partnered with the Mazda Road To Indy program. This means the United States Rotax MAX Challenge series is now an Official Partner of the Mazda Road to Indy program to foster the next wave of up-and-coming drivers. Four Rotax kart racers, chosen by a panel of experts, will now get a chance for a one-day test with U.S. F2000 teams for an opportunity to join the Mazda Road to Indy.
