Entry Opens for 2014 SKUSA SuperNationals

Registration has opened for the 2014 SKUSA SuperNational in Las Vegas. A bunch of Aussies are expected to compete in many of the nine classes on offer. Further information is in the press release below:

In less than 100 days, karters from all over the world will gather on the Las Vegas Strip to take part in the Superkarts! USA SuperNationals XVIII. The annual event will take place at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino for the fifth year in a row over the November 19-23 weekend, and it promises to be another historic edition of this prestigious gathering of racers. A total of nine categories are set to go wheel-to-wheel, including SKUSA’s core Stock Moto and TaG categories, along with the fan-favorite KZ2 division.
Superkarts! USA racers who ran in all of their regional ProKart Challenge events before July 1, or ran in the Pro Tour SpringNationals and were registered for the SummerNationals prior to July 15, were given the unique opportunity of entering early as part of the SuperNationals Priority Pre-Entry Program – which completed on August 12. With those racers now entered, SKUSA is preparing to open the online registration to the public for the remaining spots available.
SKUSA is expecting a mass influx of entries once public registration opens, and with class caps set in all of the categories, racers are urged to enter as soon as possible so that they don’t miss out on the opportunity to be part of the action. SKUSA’s core classes will be front and center, with four offerings in Stock Moto (S1, S2, S4 and S5) and four in TaG (Senior, Master, Junior and Cadet). The international gearbox category – KZ2 – will return once again to run for a major league purse, in addition to the two SKUSA headline categories of S1 and TaG Senior.

SKUSA would also like to announce that the special room block at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino is now open for online or call-in reservations, and it is highly recommended that those racers and attendees wanting to stay at the Rio make their reservations as soon as possible. Attendees may book their reservations online HERE or they can call toll free 1-888-746-6955 and refer to group code SRNAT4 or group name ‘SuperNats!’ Special pricing on this room block applies only to rooms that are booked for nights between November 15 and November 25. The cut-off date for this special Rio room rate is Tuesday, October 14, 2014 (or whenever the room block sells out). After the cut-off date, rooms will be subject to availability and will be sold at the hotel’s prevailing rates. Also, any rooms booked outside of this special SuperNats room block will be subject to an additional $20/night ‘resort fee’ -- so don’t get distracted by online specials that seem better than this program!

· Average price is $87.29 per night -- based on a 7-night stay
· Pay for one (1) night + tax at time of reservation
· Five (5) rooms max per reservation name
· 14-day cancellation policy
· Room is cancelled if 1st night is no-show
