press release

Entries close this Friday (September 12) for the 2014 Schweppes Australia NSW State Sprint Kart Championships. The Championships are being held in NSW's Central west in the Small town of Grenfell. Although only a small town Grenfell is widely renown as a small club that is able to host a major meet as good as any major city.

This year's Championships may be the last single event State Championship held in NSW with the new changes.  With these changes, the Championships will go from one event to four rounds held all over the State.

There is FREE camping at the track with shower facilities available to all karters, crews and general tag-a-longers. There will be courtesy buses running backward and forwards from town, dinners at the track as well as in town at the two clubs - all looking after the karter's budget.

There will be bands, Massage tent (yes you heard right), Jumping Castle for the kids, the list goes on.

There are still several accommodation options available in town as well as the joining towns of Young Cowra and Forbes only half an hours drive from the track - which is no further than the most places that have championship events.

So don't forget to get your entries in for what is shaping up to be one of the biggest and best NSW Championships the State has seen in years.

  • Further event info & contacts are in the Supplementary Regulations which can be downloaded from the Race Calendar page.
