In the breath taking World Championship, IAME is always in the highest part of the classification with some highs and lows from the drivers, proof of the extreme level of this competition.

The most surprising result comes from the Euoropean Champion Callum Ilott (Zanardi). The Englishman starts with the 3rd place in the time qualifying, out of 75 drivers (only 37 thousandths far from the leader), then an accident in one of the heats relegates him in 11th position and a contact at the start of the pre-final knocks him out of the race. In the very final, Ilott shows all his mastery and with an incredible recover (28 positions in 25 laps) he finishes 4th, just a step from the podium.

Martin Van Leeuwen (Zanardi) comes right behind him, 5th at the end of a climb of 18 positions built with wisdom along the week-end.

Former champion Tom Joyner (Zanardi) is another great protagonist. He is just about to repeat the success achieved in 2013: 5th in the time qualifying, 3rd after the qualifying heats, winner of the pre-final with best lap, but then only 9th at the end of the final.

Italian Felice Tiene (CRG) started very well: 6th in the time qualifying and 4th at the start of the pre-final, but the unfortunate pre-final forces him to finish in chase.

Hannes Janker (Zanardi), 11th and with  15 positions recovered at the start, and Matteo Viganò, 12th,  are constantly among the best. Incredible weekend also for Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG) and Alessio Lorandi (Tony Kart). The former succeeds an impossible climb from the 41st position of the time qualifying to the 9th of the pre-final but then in the final slips at the back of the group and finishes 26th, while the former KFJ champion starts somehow slowly, but then recovers to the 11th place in the pre-final and unfortunately finishes the final in 21st place.

Out of the 20 IAME drivers entered in the list of 94, 13 of them pass the though qualification phase and 6 are at the start of the final.

Daniel Ticktum (Zanardi) starts from the 2nd place after recovering 17 positions (from 32nd to 14th) along the 6 qualifying heats and 12 thanks to the victory and best lap in pre-final 2. The second row (4th) is for Benjamin Lessennes (Kosmic) constantly improving: 16th (with the best lap time in group 1), 12th after the qualifying heats, he then conquers 8 positions in the pre-final with the 2nd place, right behind Ticktum.

Leonardo Lorandi (Tony Kart) is 6th at the start, best lap in Group 4, winner in one of the heats and twice 2nd, then 3rd in his pre-final (PF2) and 26th.

Jules Bollier: 7th fastest on Friday, then 3rd after the qualifying heats. Respectively recovering 11 and 18 positions, David Beckmann (Tony Kart) and Mauricio Baiz (Kosmic) qualify for the final. In this race Baiz conquers the podium with great surprise: the Venezuelan starts very fast, jumps 4 rivals, then recovers 21 positions and finishes 3rd. An impressive race! Bad luck affects the others: Ticktum slips at the bottom after a contact, in the first lap and finishes only 6th. Bollier is 3rd at the end of the first lap  (from 11th on the grid), but then is set behind the leaders until lap 8 where a contact ends his hopes (21st at the end). Lorandi is out of the race 4 laps from the finish line and while he was 5th, Lessennes and Beckmann leave on lap 8 and lap 9.

Presley Martono (Tony Kart) is worth of mention, beside the penalty for a risky overtaking, she demonstrates the reliability of the IAME engines and confirms as the “first lady” with the 5th place in the time qualifying in front of 89 opponents and the 10th place after the qualifying
