Round 6 of the 2014 Austrans Victorian Country Series is to be held at the Haddon Park Raceway at Ballarat on Saturday and Sunday the 18th & 19th of October.

This meeting is also run in conjunction with the Mort Page Memorial for Clubman Light.

With this being the final round of the series, there will be practice on Saturday morning with the first round of heats to commence that afternoon. The remaining races will commence Sunday morning with the series trophies and prizes being awarded after the round trophy presentation.

The circuit, built on the side of a hill, has a very technical infield with its combination of double left and right handed corners always makes for some close racing. The long straight that runs the length of the circuit gives drivers a great opportunity to put in some passing moves at the start before the first corner.

One local driver who will be looking at adding some good points in the final round will be Paul Feely. The Clubman Heavy driver has had a busy series not only running his kart but also providing plenty of wonderful photos that get posted on the series Facebook site (and KartSportNews!).

There have already been over 120 entries received with many more still to follow as drivers attempt to add as many points to their series tally before Sunday’s presentation.

As with the previous rounds, there are early bird prizes to be drawn on Saturday afternoon for those who enter by 8pm on Wednesday.
