We had another cracker day/night race meeting at Ipswich City Dirt Kart Club with a brand new format where the club tried for the first time three x 10 lap heats and a 12 lap feature.
From a commentator’s perspective it gave drivers who didn’t get a great start to come back strong in a heat or a feature and made for fabulous racing all day! The drivers who had one whole heat dropped still only lost 2 laps of track time over all. It was a great success and is likely to continue.
Again, some amazing racing with 125cc Group A , 4-Stroke Modified, Seniors Group 3 & 125cc Group B & C standing out. Club Championship round 7 was sponsored by Topline Australia and attracted 106 entries.
Next event is the Test-N-Tune on September 21 followed by Round 8 of the club championship on September 28.
