Singh’s First International Podium

Australian Cadet karter Oscar Singh has taken his first podium placing at international level while contesting the Champions Of The Future Academy round at the Dubai Kartdrome.

After placing 10th in the Day One final, Singh qualified a strong fourth on Day Two and started the final from that position. Not able to quite run the pace of the leaders, he was running fifth going into the final lap, but some heads-up driving as those ahead starting blocking and hit traffic saw Oscar grab third at the final corner.

Oscar’s brother Koda had a tougher time in Dubai, finishing 28th and 20th in the two Mini finals.

Championship leader in the OK-N Junior class, James Anagnostiadis, ran inside the top ten but didn’t have the shattering pace from past rounds. He started 3rd in Sunday’s final, got up to second at the start, but eventually dropped to eighth by the end.

Charlotte Page competed in OK-N Senior, carding 22nd and 19th in the two finals.

James Anagnostiadis’ lead in the Junior points has been reduced

The next round is at Al Ain Raceway in the UAE (Nov 15-17) followed by the final on December 2-4 at Al Forsan, also in the UAE.
