Australian KA3 Junior Karter James Flynn has secured second place in the Japanese Ebisu Drift Series Championship.
At 12-years-old, James is the youngest driver in Ebisu Drift Series history. He competed in all three rounds of this year’s championship driving as 300-horsepower turbocharged Toyota GT86.
There are no power restrictions in the class, just a control rear tyre to limit the advantage of big horsepower cars.
James’ competitors ranged from 21 to 59 years of age. He will return to Japan next year to compete in the G1 Grand Prix Drift Series.
