Retro Karting Australia will change the tyre its Clubman classes use for 2025.
The organisation’s committee has confirmed the MG ‘SH’ will replacement the MG AZ it has been using for a number of seasons.
“The MG SH is a fantastic tyre, with the grip level very similar to the AZ” RKA posted. “The main difference is the tyre shape is more rounded. This provides more balance and you may find that it will have more turn in.
“The MG SH is around 0.4-0.5s faster than the AZ, mainly due to the shape.

“They are long lasting like the AZ. Tyre pressures run much the same, maybe 1 to 0.5 psi less than what you would in an AZ as a starting point.”
RKA also thanked DPE Kart Superstore and MG Tires for their continued support of the club.
